This Refund Policy describes the terms under which Mello offers refunds for Mello Assistant (the "Service") subscriptions and purchases. By subscribing to or purchasing any paid plan, you agree to this policy.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Free Trial
Mello offers a free trial period for new users. During the free trial, no payment is required and no charges will be made to your payment method.
2.2 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For new subscribers to a paid plan, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund.
To request a refund under this guarantee:
- Contact us at hello@mello.life within 14 days of your initial subscription
- Provide your account email and reason for cancellation
2.3 Monthly Subscriptions
After the 14-day money-back guarantee period:
- Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period
- If you cancel before your next billing date, you will retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time in a billing period
2.4 Annual Subscriptions
After the 14-day money-back guarantee period:
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the current subscription year
- If you cancel before your annual renewal date, you will retain access to paid features through the end of your current subscription year
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time in a subscription year
3. One-Time Purchases
3.1 Digital Products
One-time purchases (such as add-ons or one-time features) are non-refundable after the item has been delivered or accessed.
3.2 Physical Products
If Mello offers any physical merchandise, separate return and refund terms apply and will be provided at the time of purchase.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances, including:
- Technical issues that prevent use of the Service and cannot be resolved
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Unauthorized charges
- Other extraordinary situations at our sole discretion

5. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
6. How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription:
- Log in to your account at mello.life
- Go to Account Settings > Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
